Fur?

Okay, I know this sounds odd to even ask, but here goes:

I have noticed that many of the Mammalians have tufts of fur hanging their elbows, shoulders, hips, thighs, and knees. However, only the males have fur chest tufts (for lack of better words), while females don't. I'm wondering if I got that right on where the tufts of fur are?

Here's the second question:
If the Sapiens are so evil, why aren't they wearing fur coats, or threatening to shave anyone who has fur?

You know Mammalians probably have nightmares of ravor blade and shaving cream-wielding Sapiens.

You know, I once had a similiar thought. It certainly would fit, since everyone else are going on about how evil the Sapiens are and that's why they are attempting to kill them off.

I guess maybe they'd shave a captured prisoner or two that they need to release, but skinning? I think that's going too far, even by their perspective.
